Uses:
1.sodium hydroxide is mainly used for paper making, cellulose pulp production and soap, synthetic detergent, synthetic fatty acid production and refining of animal and vegetable fats.
2.textile printing and dyeing industry used as cotton desizing agent, refining agent and mercerizing agent.
3. chemical industry for the production of borax, sodium cyanide, formic acid, oxalic acid, phenol and so on.
4. The petroleum industry uses it to refine petroleum products and in drilling muds for oil fields.
5. used for the production of alumina, metal zinc and metal copper surface treatment as well as glass, enamel, leather, medicine, dyes and pesticides.
